About Roz

I support millennial Women Of Color, who have trouble saying ‘no’, live a more balanced life.

If you’re here, you’re probably yearning for a greater sense of fulfillment, but might be having trouble prioritizing yourself. Maybe you’re continuously committing to things that don’t feel good to you, or are experiencing guilt over setting boundaries.

Feeling stuck and at your wits ends can be frustrating and disempowering. I commend you for being brave and taking the first step in reclaiming your balance.

I believe that therapy should be a space where you can be yourself and say those things you’ve been holding in for a long time.

I work mostly from a framework that’s influenced by CBT.  That means that we get curious about the root of your thoughts, how they drive your actions, and learn how to reframe them. Together, we’ll make connections about patterns in your life that are troubling you. In our sessions, I empower you to take steps to live more freely.

I am a cycle breaker

Roslyn Guzman, LMSW

I believe that we are worthy of creating the life we deserve. We were all uniquely crafted as individuals, and that means we may not always desire the same type of experiences we grew up around. We can be appreciative of our lineage AND do things differently.

I am a lifelong learner

I graduated from Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work and am Licensed as a Social Worker in New York State. While I have been practicing for 9 years, I am deeply committed to furthering my knowledge and often engage in continuing education opportunities/training. I love seeking new information and ideas to best support my clients in their journey.
